Dyno results!! N55 VRSF DP, Becker Exhaust cat back,Jb4 map 5 small E85 mix
Did 2 pulls on the dyno, tbh, im not that pleased with the results. i drove from work to the shop (30 miles) and didnt have a chance to cool the motor, plus it was around 90 degrees out and i live in high elevation.
Let me know what you guys think... |

Nice run. Im in the same boat as you with not being happy about the power these cars put down with mods. Ive got BM3 and installing a stage 1 turbo this weekend and if I cant get to 400whp, probably going to sell it.

Yea I don't think u will hit 400HP with a Stage 1. To break 400HP u need a Stage 2. Regardless Stage 1 should provide a nice bump in power. I'm more curious about 1/4mi times than HP numbers.

Your numbers seem really low. I was 336 at the wheels, stock turbo, FBO and 445 RWHP with Stage 2 Turbo. 500 is possible, and I think I am close now, I will know in the fall when the weather cools off and it's worth checking again. Since my pull at 445 I have made a lot of tuning changes and replaced the inlet to remove the restriction there. Logs prove that was effective, my WGDC has gone down a lot. I live in Arizona, my ambient temp is over 100 everyday.

Even though map 7 gave best peak power, dyno curve showed that Map 1 was actually the best performing map, power down low started wayyy earlier and curve was flawless. Peak was around 25hp less. Now i dont have to worry about that anymore though, sold the car and got an M2. |

Without a baseline on that dyno, its hard to say if its good or bad without knowing how much you actually gained. With that high ambient temps, IAT's could have been high aswell on the stock FMIC and robbing power. Without a datalog, we will never know how high your IAT's were.
Post the dyno sheet.
