Someone hit my car whilst it was parked!
Hi all
Well, after only three months of ownership my car was damaged whilst it was parked at work! fortunately we had a witness who took all the chaps details who drove off. initially the only damage which was obvious was a scrap along the wing, tyre, alloy and front bumper, then when we had it up on the recovery truck, the driver noticed the antiroll bar was bent too... fast forward to the repairing dealer sending me a copy of the estimate - they're only going to be repairing the paintwork and alloy... haven't had anything like this happen in the past, but is it likely they'll spot more damage? and/or will i have any recourse if i choose to go on a test drive and realise anything in the slightest isnt correct? |

Sad to hear that mate, but it can be fixed
I think that you should point out the anti roll bar issue to them as they appear to have missed it |

Sorry to read your car has been damaged.
How did the anti-roll bar get damaged? That is some unusual and hard 'bump' if car was stationary. |

As far as claims/estimates go, its always the same - you must take pics and make notes and query the estimate as needed ... you usually would be able to further examine after repair to determine if all is well ...
