Looking at the rear sway bars, and there to different pics. Looks like some has a vibration absorber (part no 9).

So what was done to fit the M550d sways to the 550i that looks to have the vibration absorber as my 520d?

Rear sways from the M550dX

Rear sways from the 520d, but also the 550i.

It has the 3D design front lip spoiler and the M5 rear spoiler. The car is black sapphire metallic with the msport body package. I'm waiting for the wheels. Once received, I'll post pics.
Yes please post pics. Sounds similar set up to mine. Am sure it will look great. I have H&R Sport Springs and the drop is great but about as low as one would want to go and prevents any sort of front lip unless you want to be at the body shop alot.

So, now the question is, will the M5 Competition Package front sway bar also fit!?

I am thinking about the same thing too but the problem is that there's no rear sway to accommodate with the the thicker front sway.

Can someone Please confirm if it's worth getting the rear sway bar as well
The difference that you guys described from the front sway bar is very convincing

Is it the same drastic effect from the rear sway as well

Would M550d rear sway bar fit F11 (Touring) as the rear is self leveling air suspension? I will be doing front M5 for sure, but would like to get info if rear can be done at the same time.

I see that all the F11 with 704 M suspension gets an 18mm rear sway bar, 33556790184, same as on the F11 M550d.
So the question is if the m suspension rear sway bar fron a RWD F11 will fit on your F11 xdrive.

Anyone know what is circled? This is the front of the car.

Update: Found this, #1 AT-steering box, electr. contains EPS control unit. If you have this then the bar won't fit.

Just ordered M5 front sway bar. The rear on my car is actually 16mm since I don't have VDC (which is equipped with 13mm).

I dont know how much of an impact would have swapping 16mm for 18mm on the back, but I guess I will do this in next round.

Hm, all F10 have this Electric steering box, expect xdrive models from 530 upwards, which have hydraulic. joe@ptech have this fitted to his 550i with electric steering, so I doubt it wont fit yours 528ix bc of this control module.

M550d rear sway is 18mm. F10/F11 without VDC have 16mm (VDC equipped cars have 13mm).

I'm puzzling wit the idea switching the rear to (from 16mm to 18mm). Do you guys think is worth it?
