Can I add a Powered Subwoofer to a 550i???
Is it easy to add a powered subwoofer to a 2013 550i? Does the stock stereo (which I have) have a subwoofer output? If not, how would I get a signal? Would I need a crossover?
Any input would be great. Thanks |

- Premium or B&O = OEM amp woofer high level outputs peak at about 30-35V. Tap OEM amp woofer outputs with an Audiocontrol LC2i (40V max input) active LOC. LC2i provides the low level inputs to the sub amp. Remote turn on signal is found at pin 13 at the rear of iDrive unit. No remote signal can be generated by the LC2i and the OEM amp. - HiFi system = tap OEM woofer outputs with any passive LOC of 8V/50W max input. Remote turn on signal is located at pin 10 of the OEM amp connector. |
