Valentine ONE vs. HUD windscreen
Hey guys! I am a new member so I hope you'll excuse me if there is a different thread with this topic.
I am experiencing problems with detection in my new 5 LCI with HUD. V1 worked pretty good in X5 E53, but now it seems to be dead. Do you think that there might be a problem with the windscreen or is the glass the same in cars without HUD? Thanks |

I can tell you with 100% certainty that it is not the HUD windshield that is interfering with your V1 - now, that is for a US spec car. In the Czech Republic it might be a different kind of HUD windshield but it is likely to be the same.
I have a V1 in my '11 550i and my '12 X5, both with HUD and they work fine in both. |

So I guess that the optional Climate Comfort windscreen isn't the problem too right? I'll try to find someone who'll check out and maybe update my firmware version. Thank you guys very much!
