Nice house! congrats to you guys! whats that a 600k house in ohio?

So i've had both tiles (in my last house) and epoxy in my current house

I prefer tile

1) if a tile breaks you can replace it easily (with the racedeck and other options)
2) you can get more creative with the designs/patterns
3) easier cleanup of automotive fluids on the tile vs epoxy

I did the epoxy myself on my garage floor here, and used a kit from sherwin williams, while its good, i still prefer the tiles personally.

If we buy another house then i'm going to Recess Lighting, Tiles, cabinets as well as have my sister paint a BMW mural on one of the walls, may even get a lighted bmw wall clock on one of the other walls.

4500 sq ft listed for $339k...got it for $295k steal if this house was dug up and planted in Cali $700-900k easily



my last house when I lived back in San Diego I did some spray painting and airbrush in my bonus room with my San Diego Chargers. i was a Tagger back in my teen days if you guys know what that is lol. Thought about maybe doing some BMW logos on the garage walls but wasn't sure if it would be a bit ghetto doing that?

Remember Fouts, JJ, Joiner, Winslow??? Winslow defined the modern tight end!! They were the only team that could score 40 points and still lose!!! 4500 sqft house with 3.5 car garage and big lot like that

in Silicon Valley would be start at 4m.

my wife and i are looking at moving into a better school district.

a 2200 sqft house, move in ready (old house but updated) on a 6-9k sqft lot

would run about 1.2-1.4 easily....

move that 30 mins north of where we're looking at the price doubles, because now your commute to companies like facebook/google/linkedin/apple are now cut in 1/2 to 30 mins from 1 hr in traffic.

congrats on the new pad man looks good! looking forward to what you do to the garage!

This is why I hate watching House Hunters on HGTV. I get house envy. 4500sqft....Damn, our 2100sqft on a 5K sqft lot was close to $900k. Our 2 cars could barely fit in our garage. Around here a 1100sqft runs about $750k and from the front door, you can literally see the backyard because it's so small. So jealous but very nice house indeed.

neways did u decide on flooring yet? another thing you could do is do a custom epoxy with the chargers colors....

my buddy did up his garage in the same color scheme as the dolphins...

my wifey watches dat chit everyday! every since we got the house she's been watching everything and anything about upgrading and decorating lol. i don't blame her we got pretty lucky on this as know one really buys a house during the winter so we were pretty much the only one that put an offer on the house as it was on the market since May 2016. the owners actually moved to job relocation. so they've been paying for the house they weren't even living in since May. the house sits on 1/2 acre so plenty of yard space. planning on building a pretty good size wrap around deck in the backyard which will step down into an enclosed swimming pool area. the wife wants to change out the corellian countertops with granite. i think it's just fine but she wants something darker






as you can see plenty of space



this is the bonus room about 20x20 i think? not sure if i'll use this as my home theatre room or the basement?


but my favorite 3.5 car garage!

Maybe 1.2 Million in East Palo Alto? haha jk. Properties are at least coming down in price in some areas. Some even dropping 50 to 100K after just 2 weeks on market. Best of luck to you!

When you lay down the epoxy, pending how clean it is, you may be ahead as the current epoxy may let you skip the scarification step. I helped a PCA guy in Ohio with his garage many years ago and what I thought was an afternoon beer drinking activity was a two weekend project!
