New toy and new daily requirements

So I finally got the toy I've been looking for the last 2 years! A 997 Turbo 6spd. It's got an APR tune, Fabspeed exhaust, 23k miles, and in ridiculous mint condition!

So my F10 550 will have to take on my wife as more of a driver and longer length drives. So my awesome exhaust is becoming a little too much for my wife and myself for longer stints. I'm thinking of going for a LCI F10 535 or even a 528 in non m sport (to placate my wife to not drive an "obnoxious" car). It's either that or a X5 or X3 ("because it's cuter"). So since I have been allowed to indulge in the 997... I guess I shall indulge my wife on these issues. I definitely want to stay in the BMW brand... I am stubbornly used to BMWs and I don't want to go into a new brand and learn it all new.

Anyone gone from 550 to 528 and not felt neutered for power? I am still trying to hold on and get a 535 and put a tune on it.... but I may need to do this on the cheaper side to keep it sub $20k. Are there many fully loaded 528s with the tech (HUD, etc)? I know there were a lot of 528s in the lease market that are more middle of the row spec wise.

This will be my 75% daily and my wife's 25% as she works from home with rare office trips a few times a month. I'll drive the 997 when those days happen (my 3yr old actually has her own car, the LR3 as the nanny drives her to school and such).

Nice Porsche!!

IMHO you will absolutely HATE life going from a V8 to a 4-banger. The 535 will probably leave you wanting only during WOT, but leave you completely satisfied all other times. You probably won't even want a power-adder. Just put it in "sport" when you get the need for speed. I know my 535 has never left me wanting.

True... but it's a 2013 w 68k miles... I don't want to be a N63 bag holder you know? I want LCI with better fuel economy and lower miles.
