Help! New To The F10 World!
Hello All! So I recently picked up my new 535i M Sport in Jet Black with the Oyster interior. I traded in my 2011 335i and have to say I am LOVING the change! I was a casual member on this forum (in the 3 series board) before but have recently been jumping on here more often to take hints on what you all were doing with your F10's. Some really sick cars on here! Cool to see that there seems to be a more tight knit community for these cars then the 3er's.
Anyway, I picked my car up a week ago today. So far have done 15% all the way around, BMW performance grills, and debadged. Ive got painted reflectors, fender light trim, and an AC Style trunk spoiler on the way. Now that all the basic stuff is out of the way I am looking for suggestions from some of you experienced modders on the following: -Cost effective Quad Exhaust Setup -Practical lowering springs/coilovers (dont want to deal with poor ride quality) -Wheel upgrades -Thoughts on the Whiteline tails Basically...What would you do if it was yours!!!! Thanks in advance for the advice.

Thank you! Have always had dark interiors but have been really drawn to the lighter colors on these new BMWs

congrat.
1. Megan Quad Exhaust or Custom Magnaflow exhaust (BUT DON'T take out the resonator or you will have some droning issue) 2. Megan Coilover or Eibach springs if you don't want to sacrifice the ride quality too much. 3. Wheels. Depends on how much you wanna spend. Under $2000, go on Ebay. there are tons of decent wheels. |

What's the consensus on a quad diffuser. Cutting my stock or getting the 550 would be the cheapest route but I'd love something a bit more aggressive.

since you have the M sport. It is easy to do conversion. I would get a new, aftermarket diffusor and leave your stock untouched(incase you want to put the original exhaust back on). there are a few aftermarket diffusors out there that are inexpensive.

Coilovers, wheels, front lip, rear diffuser, trunk wing, (subtle roofwing - optional in my books) exhaust, keep it simple and classy.
look up member F10 HRE, that's my favorite setup in black F10. Cheers! |

You are right that is probably the cleanest setup I've seen on a black F10 to date. Those wheels are sick.

My parts are slowly starting to arrive...got the painted reflectors today. Quick install after reading one of the DIY threads on here so glad to be rid of that cheap ass orange!

Decided On Exhaust Setup!
After TONS of deliberation and sound clips galore I just pulled the trigger on ordering a new Megan Racing system from e46revspeed!
Found a great shop in my area and the plan is to go with an M5 diffuser painted matte black along with thermal coating the mufflers and tips with a satin black finish. Hopefully this comes out well!

Update:
Have decided to go with the new Duke Dynamics diffuser over the M5. Really wasn't looking forward to the exhaust adjustments and etc that others have said were necessary.
So...placed my order today with the guys at Duke. Great service so far! Got the FRP piece (not much of a CF guy) and they even threw in my choice of matte or gloss black paint! I will start a new thread for the mods...seeing as the title of this thread is quickly becoming innapropriate and the "bug" has bitten!
