Which Foxwell Scanner for F10
I have a 2013 535i 93k miles
I was unable to get the NT-510 Foxwell scanner to work with my vehicle. Which Foxwell scanner is compatible with this model? NT-530? Thank you |

The Foxwell scanner NT510 will have limited functionality, as it's hardware is not fully compatible with F series vehicles....you'll need to get the NT530 version.
I had the same issue and reached out to Foxwell support, and they told me no amount of FW update will allow the NT510 to fully work with the F10. It's not always a limitation due to BMW....see note below. So I purchased the NT530. Note: I also have a 991.1 (older) variant of the Porsche 911, which I needed a scanner to reset the service indicators, which required also to enter the date of the service light reset, and found out that the NT510 HW could only support dates pre-2020...so in order to show the date of service reset past 2020, I was forced to purchase the NT530. |
