Tuning question Xdelete with stage 1 tune

I have a 535i xdrive with a stage 1 tune from the previous owner. It has been done on a dyno and even the transmission was tuned for it.

I am interested in x delete, yet unsure if it will somehow mess up the stage 1 tune after I flash the car with the xdelete app.

I am by no means a specialist in those software tunes, so I need some advice.

Thanks in advance

Ive never dealt with that scenario on a bmw but I have on a GM. In that case, if the vehicle is tuned, it is likely that when you go to tune with XHP you will get an error and not even be able to do your tuning. Bear in mind I dont have bmw specific experience on that exact situation. Do you know how it was tuned or have access to the previous owner to let him flash the trans back stock first? You could always flash XHP stage 3 on your own, trans tuning doesnt get much better than that. Also not sure on how Xdelete works within the computer. It is also possible that it has nothing to do with the trans computer and only works within the transfer case control module? Might be worth while to reach out and ask XHP directly, im sure they designed xdelete to work with their trans tuning so its totally possible that it will work with some other trans tuning as well.

Thank you everyone for your answers, I will be contacting them directly. The previous owner has sent the obd adapter with a backup of the original, and the tune setup saves. Once it arrives, I will check out how its going to go.

I am trying to get rid of the burbles his tune has. Which will possibly be possible if I install the original tune.
