Are these M6 wheels on a 535 M sport?
What wheel style are these? I'm looking to buy this 2014 535i xDrive M Sport but am not familiar with these wheels.
Client Advisor said they were from an M6. These look like Style 343M. Are they? They have 245/35/20 rubber up front and 275/30/20 rubber in the rear. Staggered. Weird setup on an AWD and I realize the 20" rubber is useless in the snow (I'm in NY/NJ/PA). To compensate, the dealer is throwing in Style 328 18" wheels (standard non-line wheels) without rubber or TPMS. My plan is to throw Blizzaks on them during the winter and keep the 20's for the spring/summer/fall. Should I ask for a different Style 18" wheel? Not too crazy about Style 328. These wheels are optional on a 6 series, not M6. I hate stealerships, salesmen, and client advisors. They don't know sh-t about the vehicles they sell and represent. Good luck with your purchase, looks like a nice car.

These wheels are the Style 373 for the 6er F12: http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/bmw/373. Will fit the F10 however need thick spacers to sit flush.
For the AWD the staggered setup of 245/35/20 275/30/20 is OK and works with no problem. This is the typical one for the most European F10 with AWD, however the best rear is 285/30/20 (needs just a little bit more money) which is the closest by rolling diameter. And finally, the wide practice in cold areas is to have 20" set for summer and 18-19" set for winter. The winter tires may be traction type for a soft winter or spiked type for ice and snow, also depending on road regulations: some countries believe, spikes destroy the road surface. As an example, I run Michelin PSS 245/35/20 and 285/30/20 in summer, and Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8 255/45/18 square (OEM Style 350) in winter. Happy with it. |

Yes, those are the 373M wheels from the 6 series, but they have the same width, tire size and offset as 20" OEM F10 wheels.

The 373M is a very nice wheel on the F10, I would keep them. The width and offsets are the same as the standard F10 M Sport wheels (Style 351M). If you want a more flush fitment, you can add 10mm spacers on the front and 15mm on the rear. That setup will push the wheels out closer to your fender lips and give a more aggressive look, without any rubbing issues.
