Bluetooth Audio Problems
About two weeks ago, I had a hard time connecting my iphone 5 to my car for audio (telephone works like a charm) and everything I did, removing and readding the phone and even trying a different phone, didn't seem to work. So I took it to the dealer and they said they had to reset the bluetooth software. A couple of days ago I ran into the same issue again so I'm wondering if any of you have had similar issues.
When I have this problem, the audio icon on the far right is NOT greyed out and even my phone shows that it's connected and sending audio to my car. The only thing that's missing is the sound from the speakers. And btw, I can switch to phone/cd/radio at any time and the speakers work great. |

Have you checked to see whether your car has the latest version of the Bluetooth Media software? It is available to us at:

I've seen this issue on other BMW forums as well. Seems to be an issue with iPhone 5.
