BLACK PANTHER: The Reveal

The reveal event was amazing, almost overwhelming in its response. Thank you to everyone who came, the overall turnout was better than I expected.

I'll have a more detailed writeup to come, but in the mean time I'll leave you with one picture. And yes, those are 3-piece 21" carbon fiber wheels by Litespeed Racing.

I guess now I know why I don't really use the forums as much anymore; the moving trends don't progress as fast here.. I respect everyone's opinion regardless, but you there are the only ones I've heard do not like the design. This design was hand-drawn and perfected for weeks, as well as hand cut (not decals), and at the event literally not one person said it was either ricey/tacky. The colors are actually quite muted in fact; all my friends/followers on IG liked the tastefulness in design as opposed to those tacky colored chrome patterned what-nots that float around.

This GT has never been about simplicity, or following the norm. If I was doing that, I wouldn't have even gotten a GT. Controversy is what defines TheBlackGT, and the reason it has sparked so much popularity on Instagram and elsewhere.

I applaud you for not doing the norm, it's your car and in the end you're the one riding in it everyday. While the graphics aren't my style either, it's clear a lot of thought and skill went into the design/execution. Doesn't look cheap or tacky, but you will get some hate from members for sure (not me though!). Anyways, looking forward to a detailed write up and some more photos, great work!

Love everything about the car from the wheels...splitters... diffusers but the graphics just not a fan. Other than that I love the build! No hate here... Just a fan who appreciates the work you put in! You're gonna have people who love it... Or hate it!

My old GT was definitely something special, and I wasn't really planning on getting another. However when i realized the untapped potential I never brought out within, the LCI was the way to go. and I'm glad I did, because no other model would've created such an impact in the scene like this GT has.

You killed it bro! I dig the graphics primarily because they are directly in line with the personality of the car. Individual preferences are exactly that but reading all the comments, no one is saying you didn't execute perfectly!
Congrats on an amazing build...I need to know the story behind those wheels!!!

I like your swooshies.

It goes well with the curvatures of the GT. Just not too sure about the 1 coming down from your tails (like a fang), But overall it adds some good dimension to the GT.
