I have no idea what that is. The only bmw that I have ever driven and owned is the one that I have now, which is a 2002 530i, lol.

I'm trying to sell it though, and plan to get either a 550i or an M5 once I get my career going within a year or two (Firefighting).

I agree, that's the one line on the car I'm not thrilled with.

Back rest width seating

I recently purchased a 2011 535xi with the M Sport Package. As I was going through the options I noticed it did not come equipped with the power backrest width option that my 2008 had. There should be two power buttons to provide much tighter thigh support. Though the manual shows it, and all other documentation says it should be equipped, it's not. I contacted my sales rep and he is somewhat puzzled. He is looking into it, but I wanted to check if anyone can shed some light on this...

It's not there. My sales rep told me day one it was one of the nice features in the old model that the new one doesn't have. I agree, that the "hugging" feature of the seat was nice -- going to miss it when my new car arrives next week.

That's too bad...I really like that feature on my M3, and on the 335i that preceded it. Actually, I firmly believe that feature is one of the reasons I was not injured when the car was totaled. I was turning left, and some guy coming in the other direction was behind another car, swerved out and hit me about 30 degrees from head-on. (Draw a line from the driver's seat to the front right corner of the car -- that's the angle from which he hit me.)

The crumple zones and airbags worked perfectly. From the base of the windshield to what was left of the front bumper was about two feet. I was wearing a seat belt, of course, but I think the snug fit of the backrest kept me from coming out from behind the belt.

Anyway, I'll miss that feature if it's not included on my 550i.

19" tires and rims on 2012 535i or upgraded 20" 356 V-spike

Just ordered a new 2012 535i sedan. Thinking about upgrading the rims and tires to 20" #356 V-spoke. They look great. Does a 20" tire/rim offer any difference in driving than say 18" or 19". Has anyone taken this upgrade and are you happy you did?

That looks wicked, the color and the wheels come together very nicely.

525 F10

Hello everyone. Iam new here and new in the BMW world. Unfortunatly i had a very bad start. Just bought a 525 F10 from 2010 and i didnt even get home with it. The engine blocked and as all services i contacted are telling me I need to replace it. The gents that i bought the car from put something in the engine so it works smooth for awhile but then this thing gets thick again and appearantly this blocked the engine. Any experiences or advices guys ?
Thanks

So sorry to hear that. Sounds like very dishonest dealing from the seller. Do you have any legal recourse to unwind the deal?
