F10 Harmon Kardon - How to improve the sound?
Ok, so my opinion only, the Harmon is quite dreaful.
I note that the components might be ok, but however the I drive EQ is altered it still sounds really quite awful. Any advice or have you done it? 1. Simple - Change the Harmon Kardon Factory Amp. Job Done? 2. Nope, the front components all will need upgrading and an amp? 3. Nope, install a BIT 10 or similar and it will really improve it? Previously I improved the sound in an F10 for very little money by replacing the under seat subs, the mid range in the doors and the tweeters, added an old Alpine 400x4 amp and it was really amazing. ( essentially I made my own Alpine Upgrade equivelant ) |

Do you know how they got round the fibre 9 speaker and centre channel nonsense?
I dont think yours had the Harmon Kardon..... actually???? How on earth can changing components be the key? Really the drivers are the issue and not the amp or the DSP? Dont want to offend or be rude ofcourse. |

Rainbow 8 inch underseats - specially designed essentially for BMWs allegedly. They were really quite lovely for the money - added a lot of warmth.
Anyway back to how the F do I upgrade... I must be a trend setter as nobody knows. |
