Could this be a linked issue, or is this a different problem anyone else has experienced ?
What does the MAX function do to cool the car? Vents should go down to something like 8C, without issue. That will give a clue to A/C efficiency.

PS: What intensity level are you using? Common issue in hot weather to feel the system is not too good, as users are not on a high enough Auto intensity setting for what they want from the system.

Garage List
Following my earlier post in this thread [#28] - I booked my car into Williams Bolton for an oil service (the final service covered by the 5 year/60k mile service pack) and was advised that they will need the car for the whole day as they need to replace the aircon condenser. This is despite them replacing the failed part last May (2015).

Uh oh, looks like I have this problem too.

Notice my car a bit stuffy on not too warm a day but sunny so hot inside the car.

Yesterday evening on the way home, 21'C outside temp, climate set to 16'C, blowing warm air for the whole journey of 30-40 mins.

Car is May 14 reg, F11 20d.

Been trying to book into my local main dealer today, they are apparently currently taking bookings for two weeks time. Not exactly Lexus, then...

Mine has failed again. Last time they replaced a pipe and it worked for a couple of weeks before it started the slow downhill routine of whining compressor, gurgling and hissing, less cooling and so on.

Now when I speak to the dealer it is included in the recall (wasn't last time) and it's booked in again.

What irritates me is that they make me pay for a hire car each time. Grrrr. And the fact that BMW were busy replacing aircon systems before my car was built.
