I removed them just to make it and easier install. All the trim pieces come of easily. I would have to say the one that was a little difficult was the center console trim piece around the shifter. That one took some patience.

It is time consuming so make sure you have a day to do it.

I wrapped my E90 in CF fabric and will second the patience bit. Also, get the good tools to remove the trim. That and a free weekend with slow steady work will yield a great result. Rush - and it will look very cheap.

Just installed a gloss black diffuser to match my recently added gloss black spoiler. Figured I would match the black instead of the stock "dark grey" diffuser. I chose to stay stock. Clean and simple.

I kinda am thinking I may like a body color diffuser next. Anyone have pics of this on a silver 550?

so today was love my F10 day since she's been neglected due to dealing with my truck issues which I finally got it all squared away

I usually do this during early spring but shit happens

so here she is currently sitting high as f on my OEM 356's

and here's my Chemical Guys cart all ready to go!

so before I detail the car I pulled my AGL21's out of storage and adjusted my KWV1's down and I thought I had it perfect but damn she ended up hitting the floor

oh man I would love to be sitting on bags

I had to pull the car out of the garage and get a picture of this. the front tire was literally sitting on top of the fender

had to crank those KW' back up until I got it dialed in and now she sits perfect

busted out the pressure washer with my foam canon using CG's Maxi Suds which smells amazing BTW

I didn't do any type of paint correction since I didn't have any pads at hand so I did do the clay bar followed by CG's BlackLight, JetSeal and did a final coat of ButterWet Wax which is their carnuba wax...smells ridiculously AWESOME

for the wheels I treated the wheels with CG's Matte Meticulous Spray Sealant and rubbed the tires down with CG's Matte Vinyl/Rubber coating. here she is all SEXY and GORGEOUS

Make sure you provide insulation between wires so it doesn't make your ambient light flicker because its shorting.. be careful with your door panel trims specially the one by the lever to open the door. highly suggest use plastic trim remover.
