BMW App

I am about to order a 535i with Sport package and sport auto transmission. Thinking about to add BMW App. Question to the gurus: can I just order iPod/USB connection and BMW App alone, without the Navigation? My dealer says I need to add $2000 Navigation as well if I want the App. For some reasons, I have an impression that the BMW App can be ordered alone. Anyone knows? Thanks in advance!

yes you need the navigation. Is it worthy is up to you. Do you use you iphone to the extent that you will use twitter, facebook, internet radio and other apps in the future? If you don't need nav, or if you are trying to keep cost down skip.

If you elect to get Nav, then adding 6NR is not a bad way to spend $250 for future capability as well as potential resale if it becomes the platform for more integration. In a $60K+ car, $250 for something that cannot be retrofitted later may be a wise investment now.

I do use iPhone but not the way I would like to use it with my future 535i. I don't order navigation. So I think it is clear to me that I'll pass it. Thanks a lot to all your helps!
