Opinions please! Hamann lip on stock suspension

Hey guys,

I just picked up an alpine white 2015 528i. I've go the mod bug and have already changed the kidney grills to gloss black M5 double slats, body color changed the reflector and side marker, wrapped my roof in gloss black, 20" SDC forgestar f14's on order, now need opinions on my next install: a Hamann lip.

I'm from Toronto, Canada (where there's lots of pot holes and snow at times) and plan on using my car as an everyday ride, so I need it to be practical.

For those of you who have the hamann lip, what's your experience/opinion. Will I get a lot of scraping with a Hamann lip on stock suspension? To be honest, I don't plan on lowering the car (I know some of you throw up at the thought), but I need this car to be an all-year round, practical beater.

This lip is sitting in my garage ready for install but I'm hesitant as I do not want to ruin a perfectly good car with a scraping front lip and would rather not have to worry about driveways and steep inclines, etc.

Please, all, I need your opinion to decide whether or not I should install this thing.

You should be fine at stock height. Go for it, you already bought it.

Mine is on stock suspension and has been fine through LA roads

if you've already got it i would go ahead and install it. but being stock height i'm wondering if it'll throw off the overall look of the car since most guys with front lips have their car's lowered. having it stock height might make it look like a 4x4 or people may keep asking you when are you going to lower it? post a picture!

No, my lip made the car look lower when the ride height was stock. Everything to gain nothing to lose, put that bad boy on.

My car is sitting at stock height in these pics. Still looks good IMO but I'll be lowering it soon.

Scrap if lowered and don't take driveways at an angle. I don't think that's a problem stock

Looking good! Where did you get it from (have a link)? How was the fitment?
