Keeping Sane Project

As with a lot of folks here, I've been WFH since mid March and with limited options to keep myself occupied, my wife suggested I find new things to learn and practice on. Around the house, I've been learning and practicing plastering since it was the one thing I could never get perfect. In the garage, one thing I never learned and tried is painting my own parts. So, with $$$ spent on a spray gun and paint supplies, a knockoff AK front lip from Ikon, I'm learning and painting it myself.

Just finished priming and sanding to perfection. I'm taking my sweat time doing it to get it done right. Paint should be arriving from Automotivetouchup hopefully this week (it's been taking up to 3 weeks). I'll post pics hopefully of finished product soon. If I succeed with the lip, I'll take on the rear CF diffuser because I'd rather have it painted to match the car.

What's your project that you've taken on during the past couple of weeks?

My wife gave birth to our daughter 2 weeks ago (1st child)...so I've been busy on diaper duty. The week prior we had a rusty leak from our a/c overflow pan which necessitated a partial bathroom and closet demo/renovation and a pocket door track replacement last week.

But I did manage to finally replace my nasty, sticky driver's door inside door trim on Father's Day.

CONGRATS!!!! One thing I did with my baby girl (She's almost 30 and married.... where does the time go?? ) was "date" her. We did stuff together sans Mom and we have had the best relationship!
