Hey guys,

I have used bmw m5 competition exhaust mufflers off a 2015 bmw m5 comp and i want to install them on my 2016 bmw 550i xdrive with the m-sport package.

What modifications are needed?

I also want to install the m5 diffuser on the rear m5 sport bumper, i read it is a direct fit without modification, is this true?

Also what about the kick sensor, will it still work with the m5 diffuser? I remember seeing a thread about it but i cant seem to find it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

While not the same car, I have similar mods on my 535i.

The Comp. exhaust was a direct fit (with a correct diffuser of course). I have an aftermarket CF diffuser, hands free trunk still works, it is basically the same as an M5 diffuser, but even for my car it fit perfectly.
