Congrats. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
I've been toying with the thought of getting a 5er, but I can't get over the softer feeling of the F10, so I won't be trading my E92 for it. And I already have a larger, cushy car (2005 E-Class) and I rarely ever drive it, so just replacing it seems a bit silly to me. I like having it just in case I need the larger car, but those occasions are few and far between. I do, however, love the look of the F10 far more than any similar car I've seen (before or since its introduction). What convinced you that you could give up the taughtness of the E90 for the F10?

The interior of the F10 is amazing as is the 8sp transmission. It just feels like a far more expensive car and a generally nicer place to be compared to the e9x. With DHP and IAS, it feels just as planted and nimble as the e9x to me.
I am getting my 2nd e90 lci but almost went with the f10. In Hong kong there is a a 5 month wait and I needed a car sooner, so I had to switch my order to an lci e90.

you would be surprised by this car. the wheel gap, the non sporty tires. all make you believe this car is a big softy. and while it is comfortable, it still feels all like a bmw. i got the manual version. if anything the ride is better an the car handles better than the e90.
