Just saying hello to you all.

I've had my new 5 Series f11 for less than 2 weeks, so loads to research and learn about. Finding the car very impressive, it's my first ever bmw, first ever diesel and first ever auto - well pleased though.

Thanks for the welcome. No pics yet, straight in to using it and it now needs washed. Still driving it on a honeymoon period. Coming from a 231 bhp RX8 (which is being kept) so a very different drive for me. Trying eco pro mode and watching savings is novel and works for me in traffic, but can't wait to push the car more.

Mine was approx 7 weeks.

..... on mine, I got the it in less than 2 weeks from stock because the dealer searched for one with the main colour and trim preferences, so not delivery from factory. Possibly some compromises that way, but they would have increased the price as well and unfortunately that's just part of it and I couldn't spec every toy.

Driving assistant plus (includes active cruise control)
Traffic jam assistant
Head up display (includes black panel display)
Model designation deletion

I would love to know what you think and hear comments on the black panel display and the LED headlights

Expect car to be ready 17th march. Can't wait. :-)
