KW coilovers or ACS SPRINGS?
KW coilovers or ACS SPRINGS?
I read a lot of a reviews and debate about this topic. My car is 550i with DHP and with 64000 miles, I am happy with the handling and ride very much. But, I really do not like the wheel gap. Should I get springs or go to coilovers? The reason I am debating is I am wasting money on the springs, and how much more life is left on the original shocks, and at that point need to pay for a full replacement? |

You're comparing a difference of almost $1200! It's really up to you. Springs now and replace shocks later or coilovers now and save in the long run.

Just done mine with the ACS springs and the rims. Front lowered by only an inch, rear even lesser. So don't think its going to hurt the shocks. The drive was very comfortable, not hush at all, I kind of like it very much.

Preferably coils. OEM shocks will still be bouncy and ultimately wear out quicker. May not necessarily affect the car whilst in your ownership, but the next guy will.

What suspension do you have now, if you got EDC that function won't work with coilovers.
