Help- Considering using my M3 winter set-up for 550xi

If I make the move to a 550i Xdrive I may want to make use of as much of my current set up as possible from my M3. I have VMR VB3's- 18x8.5 with 235-40/18 fronts and 18x9.5 with 255-40/18 rears. Any reason this would not work? Any recommendations for changes?

The tires overall circumference is smaller. So you need bigger tires. Like 245/45-18 275/40-18. Wheels will work fine
