Shadowline Modifications

So I've received my 2011 535i and am considering some mods, but I'd appreciate your opinions before I made any decisions!

Pictured below is my car (although from BMWUSA config.): space grey metallic with shadowline exterior.

I am considering the following mods:
- Shadowline Grill (from BMW)
- Black Chrome Tailpipes (from BMW)
- Black Gloss Rims (my dealership recommended a local shop which can powder coat the rims to match the Shadowline; $200/rim).
- Black Gloss Side Indicators & Door Handle Inserts (local shop again; $600 total)

What do you all think?
My main dilemma: Is it necessary (in terms of looks and consistency) to get the side indicators & door handle inserts painted as well so there is no chrome on the exterior? It's quite expensive (especially in relation to the rims), so I wanted your opinions!

I think since your car is grey it's going to look very dark or too monochromatic. Tailpipes will be unnecessary.

See if you can find a Nissan GT-R in dark grey (sorry it's a darker grey - similar to Sophisto Grey - but will give you an okay idea). The rims are dark and it has "shadowline" so you can see what the effect looks like.

I think it blacking out all the chrome bits on the exterior would look great if you're looking for a sportier / more aggressive overall look. Check out E90post for examples of space gray 3-series with all blacked out chrome parts for a better idea.

I would personally also black out the door handle inserts and smoke the sidemarkers if I was blacking out all the rest of the parts on your list. Would definitely look better in terms of consistency.

Please share photos if you go through with this, I think it'll look great!
