Fogs\' HIDs flickering >:0
I\'ve installed aftermarket HIDs in the fogs.they came with a ballast and the bulb as most do. Some ppl said resistors some said relays and some said capacitors????? I Put them in myself I\'ve done this a million times b4 different cars.
My 2011 5 series while the engine I off the HIDs work fine, once the engine is on the bulbs flicker as if they\'re strobes. Please help!!! Please direct me to a link where I could find the missing part or a how to. Thanks in advance |

I'm using ddm tuning' HID with error cancellers (its just resistors really) on each side and no flickering. This is my second set though, the first set (from DDM also) lasted about 1 year, then the bulbs just died. I still have the ballast and error cancellers and still works.
By the way if you decide to get error cancellers, it goes between the HID ballast and oem sockets. Where in LA are you, there is an F10 meet on 3/10, see the regional forums for details. Cheers! |

thanks everyone. does anyone know how to use HID conversion kit on my halogen lowbeam H7? the bulb is H7 but there is a metal plate that goes on top of the bulb and sandwiched by plug out of the car thats what locks it in place, when i replace that halogen bulb that plug coming from the car won't fit on top of the hid bulb making it impossible to lock in the socket!!! please help |
