pre-LCI side marker on LCI

Do the pre-LCI side markers fit on LCI models? And how do you remove it?

Yes it does!

The LCI side markers are just a easy cheap way from BMW to solve the issue with holes in the fenders when they decided to move the side indikators from the fenders to the rear view mirrors.

The correct way of doing that would be a new tools for the front fenders without the holes, but that was obviously a too expensive solution for the LCI.

The side markers are easy to remove with a pry tool.

definitely use a plastic pry tool if you can as you don't want to break the tabs. i did mine ghetto as i just used black electrical tape over my screw driver but i'm very careful when it comes to things like that

From my research it seems there are 3 tabs.....2 on the top and bottom towards the front. Is the 3rd tab in the front or back?

Correct!

The third tab is in the front, start with that one.
