Sold a car recently that I used Mobil1 exclusively (after the free 12K mile oil changes) with 10K-14K or yearly oil changes. Still running great at over 200K miles.

It will run fine if you change oil regularly, but I've heard that Mobil 1 is a very poor quality oil. You will notice smoother and quieter operation switching to 5w40 liquid moly shell rotella motul etc
