528i Launch Control?

Just being curious, does 5 series have launch control?
I got a X6 35i, a 535Li and 528Li, which has 8-speed automatic gearbox. Is there launch control?

Not that I know of.

The Launch Control feature is/was only available with SMG and DCT transmissions, not with the "regular" (6-8 speed) Auto or Manual transmissions found in a 528i.

I've always wondered if it did exist...

I guess now the only option you have is to fully disable traction control.

It seems that even when traction control is enabled, it allows some spin on the backwheel when you start off. I was accelerating rapidly one day and when I pressed down the accelerator, the traction control icon popped up on my dashboard.
