What mods will suit that baby?

Hello, guys! First of all, I want to say that I am very new to the BMW world and have recently became an owner of this fantastic 2012 White F10. Initially, I told myself that I won't make a lot of changes, but now I am thinking what might suit the car to improve its overall look.

I will be honest by saying that I really prefer the stock look rather than some black rims and grills. I believe that with that chrome it looks much more luxurious. Correct me if I am wrong, but this is one of the main attributes to the 5th series. I also really like the stock rims. However what bothers me is the exhaust pipes. I want it to be symmetrical and most probably will make it look like 535 with dual exhaust, although I should most probably put a black diffuser, which will not go along very well with the car. Almost to forgot, I am defiantly putting an M-sport fron bumer!

So what are your suggestions? I will appreciate your honest opinion.

The diffuser on the non-M Sports isn't replaceable. The bumper must be cut and then a diffuser fitted. Not an easy prospect, but it has been done.

Likewise, the exhaust will have to be fabricated to make it a dual set-up.

I'm confused? You said you really like the stock look...so why ask for mods?

Congrats! I would start with a new set of wheels. If you prefer a stock look, there are many OEM wheel options available.

Well you can still make some mods and keep the car stock. Maybe I didn't express myself well, but I prefer OEM parts. As I said, my plan is to first replace the front bumper and probably the rear with an M-sport, which is a BMW available option. Just saying that I am not much of a fan of aftermarket mods. I want to keep the car looking like it came out of the factory as much as I can, because afterwards it's also easier to sell it.

Stock is they way the car came, mods are changes made from stock, so no you can't have both.
But we understand you now.
You can mod the front and rear bumpers that way, the exhaust may be possible but you'll have to get creative, like replacing from the mid section back with a 535i or 550i exhaust.

Yeah my bad, I didn't express myself correct. My thought was that I want to be OEM as much as possible, no matter what mods I am doing to the car.

On the other side, I really can't decide if that black on white look of the stock M5 with grills, trims and wheels will actually look good at all on that vehicle.......

I would get a OEM M Sport Front bumper and change out the grills when you put it on.

so really you want to upgrade from a base to MSPORT which you would need to swap the front, rear bumper, rear OEM spoiler and side skirts. that's about as much as you can do if you're staying on the OEM look side of things. anything else is modding like adding aftermarket spoilers, diffusers, lips, color matching reflectors, grills, exhaust and so on.

Here's the Remus exhaust for your car which will require no modifications

we both have the same Non M so the only body parts of the car I upgraded was the rear bumper and the side skirts. I liked the front bumper as is since I really liked the 3D carbon fiber front lip

Haha, yeah my native language is not English and I am not very familiar with all the terms out there, but this is exactly what I meant. Thanks for pointing me that out! From now on I will refer to my taste with that exact term!

you can find them on ebay. I actually bought mine from Schmeidmann
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Carbon-Fibe...dZo:rk:19:pf:0

https://www.schmiedmann.com/en/bmw-f...RLSTF1011EDCAR

or if you don't want the carbon fiber version and you want to paint it the same color as your car you can order the PU version
https://www.schmiedmann.com/en/bmw-f...t=FRLSTF1011ED

there's also the Alpina style which is pretty sweet lookin
