My 2011 bmw 535i xdrive, has a cold start issue and it only happens in the winter so simply cooler temps. When i get in and start the car first thing in morning car starts fine but after few seconds the rpm's drop to the point where the car is about to stall out and than rpm's go back right up. Do you have an intake? I've seen some ppl state that their car seems to choke in colder months because of it. But not sure if that relates 100%. I haven't experienced that problem with mine.

No I don't have a intake

Whenever I had issues with RPM's dipping to almost stall it had to do with my coils/spark plugs.

What gas is being used? brand ?

Shell 93 most of the time. I tired different gas to see if it was gas but same thing

Did you even had this problem in warmer temps like 50f and above?

I should have clarified, that was on my N52 330i and it would occur and anytime during idle sporadically.
