I see what your talking about now, shitty imagine if your a normal customer that's paying someone to install this turbo a second time to get this resolved

I'd have to remove the unit to replace the wastegate. I know N54 wastegate repair kits are available, but I haven't seen N55 parts kits.
If I'm removing it I'm not going to go through that too anyway, just exchange the whole unit. |

Sucks! I have been waiting about 4 weeks for my turbo from Pure, hope fully they can get yours sooner since it is a replacement.

Nope, no updates. Ball is entirely in my court to move forward. I did some other mods this past weekend, and I've been working on a side project. I haven't had time to allot to pushing.
Soon. Actually contemplating going outside to fiddle with the F10 right now, but its hot, and I just ate so I'm full, and I'm tired/lazy lol. Essentially my WGDC is nearly maxed out, well over double what it should be for the boost level I'm at. Either the EPDW pressure converter is failing, or the turbo is binding really bad now. On my way home today I went to pass someone from a stand still and zip around them, it was nothing nothing nothing upon tipping in.... then massive wanton wheel spin with copious tire squeal. Think when they hit the "NOS" in F&F and break traction. Something is wrong, I need to swap the EPDW from the X3 to my F10, and if that doesn't improve it I need to pull the damn turbo. |

I think ym wastegate is sticking on my stock turbo since i dont hear the turbo blow off anymore. any idea?

It could be a few things, most likely I would think is tearing the diaphragm in the diverter valve. Are you running stock boost?

Its not the wastegate, it was sticky back when but has proved to be a non-issue since. Just won't make more than ~15psi and drops to 11 after 5300 or so.
I've done all the trouble shooting I can without pulling the turbo. |
