Alekshop: Plug&Play Video Interafaces with Front and Rear Cameras
We are glad to offer the New Automotive EMC certified Video Modules with Plug&Play harnesses for the New F10 5-series with New iDrive Navigation System.
Kit features: - Integration with BMW iDrive system - 3 AV-inputs to connect different video devices - 2 Video-outputs to distribute video signal to the rear headrest - Audio-output for integration of the audio signal with BMW sound system via AUX port. Variety of devices can work in conjunction with the Video module: - Rear View Camera (OEM Style) - Front View Camera - Thermal Imaging system - DVD player - iPod, iPhone, iPad - iPhone Dock connector - Dension interface Something to consider when buying similar products: Our Back-Up cameras come with Sony CCD processors (higher number of pixels & better TV-line resolution) which produces a better quality image during the day and night. All of our cameras are specially built for Alekshop and come with bright white LED lights to match OEM license plate illumination. Important: Other types of back-up cameras that require the replacement of part(s) of the original Locking System may void your Locking System Warranty, which can reflect on your car insurance. I'm sorry but I don't recommend the front camera to anyone. My first one was replaced with two weeks of install cause because of a cracked lenses and the 2nd cracked about two weeks after. I'm aware it's a front camera and that my car is very low but knowing this is a front facing camera they should have made the lenses out of something more durable then just a thin glass lenses. Other then that it's a solid system with the rear camera and multi media unit.

Is this just plug and play or does it require cutting and splicing wires into the dash? Does the rear camera display the lines as the car turns while backing up to show you directions like it does in the picture?
My car did not come with a camera at all, and just want to make sure something like this will work like OEM or better... also it will still show the rear backup sensors while backing up? last question, does it automatically display the rear camera when the car is in reverse, or do you have to hit a switch to change the input on the screen? after answer, PM me the price |

Would love the above answer as well. Also, any warranty issues with this from anyone?
I assume a reputable aftermarket stereo installer can put this setup in? |

The lines are there but not active (don't turn) It will show PDC sensors (you have 5 different options to choose from how you want your rear camera to be displayed) The camera automatically turns on when you put your car in reverse. The price can be found on our website here - BMW F10 Rear camera kit Thank you, Aleks. |
