Is the Airbag Single Stage or Dual Stage?
The US and I believe Canada requires Dual Stage Airbag.

The steering wheel shell is direct fit in to all F10/F11 and some other models. I have done it on mine 2013 535 using M6 2015 steering wheel. You will need to purchase a wiring harness and steering wheel module based on your options, as well as Air Bag made for US. US requires Dual Stage and Europe uses Single Stage.
Be careful using www.realoem.com for proper parts. The Steering Control Module is incorrect part number for some models, therefore talk to dealer parts department before buying it. I am glad I did.
My personal opinion, the steering wheel is a huge improvement going from non-sport basic to M6 style in my case.
