Haven't found any other mods I fancy at the moment. And to be honest there didn't seem to be many options or even posts mentioning mods so I could get some ideas.

I'm tempted to get good OEM look HIDs in the projector, but don't want to damage any control modules.

Black front grille and window surrounds look better on white cars imo

Rear spoiler from Taiwan? Comes painted in white for about £60?

As soon as I got the car, black grill was something I wanted to do straight away.

But then after looking at a few pictures (mainly on this forum) I kind of decided against it. I like my cars a bit subtle.. and I thought the back grill was making it look a bit bad-boy/gangsta?

pics from this forum

vs

And looks a bit mismatched??

I probably will get a spoiler.. tempted to get it in black?

While we are talking about changes, I have just ordered a new clutch and a dual mass flywheel for mine.

There is a bit of slippage at high gears and I think the DMF is playing up.. the mechanic said can do it in a few months when it starts slipping in the lower gears, but I would feel happier knowing it,s done. But its going to cost a few bob..

Anyone else had this changed on an F10?

Yes had to those replaced in my 2010 F10 about this time last year although I didn't have any slip just a slight judder and then only when queuing in traffic. If it had been my own car I would have lived with it but as it was Company car it was replace.

Then I lost reverse gear last December and had to have the Gearbox replaced.

I prefer the black, but that's personal taste. I don't think it looks gangster as it is is pretty standard. Can't believe your considering a black spoiler if your not happy with a black grille, stick to white if your not doing the grille and window trim.

Now my Alpine White 530d with 20" rims and a whole load of black/carbon fibre detailing looks very gangster, but that's how I like it!

New gearbox, shocking for a 3 year old car! Was it done under warranty? Did the new DMF make any noticeable change in how the car behaves when moving off?

Well Eurocarparts don't seem to have Cluch in-stock but have the DMF, so have placed an order for both through the mechanic. Should be here by next weekend.

No no difference I could tell to be honest, BMW contributed a percentage to the repair but I don't know who much. I d know the bill would have been around £3.5k
