Quad Tips on stock 550 muffler ?

Hey guys has anyone replaced the tips on the stock 550i for large quad tips ?

I dont really want to make it louder but just change out the look, possibly with an aftermarket M5 diffuser

Looking for suggestions Thanks.

Yes it can be done. I did it with stock 535 mufflers, as have a few others. Just search and you will find numerous threads on the subject. I am on my phone so can't easily find other threads for you to look at right now.

I tried to search it, but nothing for the 550 came up, and yea I did see a couple with the 535
