Swapping TPMS between cars possible?

I was planning on swapping wheels between my car (2011 F07) and my wife's car (2013 F10). Anyone know if the cars will detect the sensors or would I have to get all the tires dismounted, etc. to swap the sensors? Thx in advance.

As long as the F07 was built after 9/10 you should be good.

What is the difference in tpms for F10s built before 9/10? Would it not be compatible with say the 2015?

Im no expert but its a completely different TPM system before 2010. I believe the 2015s are not compatible either as they changed the system again in 2014.
