New updates will play FLAC

I have MY 2013 535i, before it did not play FLAC files, now after vehicle updates it does. Also, HID fog from DDM tunning works without flickering.

Interesting... how did you go about getting the update? I just purchased my 550i from BMW of NWA and it will be down for service hopefully next month.

I was in for a service, they changed brake fluid at 12000 miles, also updated car with newest updates.

My music sounds so much better.

Are you sure it plays FLAC? I just ordered my 2016 BMW 5 series and it doesn't support FLAC on the hard drive, and the multiple people at BMW genius say it does not.

Or do you mean you can play flac from a FLAC player through AUX?

Interesting the you mention DDM HID fogs working properly after a dealer update. I have the same HID fogs and they were working perfectly in my car. Last Fall the dealer performed the VANOS recall and when I got the car back only one side of my HID's would work and I get s bulb out error. I swapped the HID hardware to the opposite side and the same side illuminates, so I know it isn't the harness or bulbs. Trying to figure out how to get this working again. I really want my HID fogs back for wintertime, they help me see the potholes in the road.
