Says underneath from a 530D ordered.

In case you missed it, this display is coming to the F10. It's in the brochure even.

Look at the photos of the Alpina B5 Touring interior in an article posted on BimmerPost a week or so ago, shows full black panel (with Alpina Blue gauges, but still shows what it will look like.)

Did you notice there are 7 photos? It looks awesome in it's various stages . If you're wondering what car it belongs to, you'll be left in no doubt on photo 4 which shows an F10 on the display screen.

Awesome link, thanks! I really am hoping that is the way mine comes, there is still that sense of uncertainty.

Garage List
Have this on the 5GT for a year

It is what it is: a bit of drama.
But the context-specific LED display dashboard does make the navigation menus easy to access.

There is a part and full black panel.
Full Black panel runs the entire length of dashboard binnacle (behind the steering wheel)

...and what is the part black panel? The 520D configurator states that this is now an inclusion. What is it?

So why does my 2011 F10 535i Sport not have this. It pisses me off that my car is the same model year yet has less features. BMW should wait until next model year to change cars to this degree. JMHO

On builds from week 9 2011 with 610 HUD.

Seems good there's a midyear update instead of waiting but guess that depends on your perspective.

Just got my 550I today. US spec delivered in Germany. Build week 8 and definitely does not have the extended display or HUD as displayed in this thread. HUD is better than my 2010 535I, but no speed limit signs.

Really unfare to the people who just bought a new 5 series. BS that car companies do these sorts of things.

Reminds me of all the people who bought a 330i in 2006, only to find out that the the 335i was coming the following year, though this is not nearly as bad.

Bmw Apps 610 & 6wa

Hi guys,
I will take delivery of my new F11 monday, and will test the new head up display, the BMW APPS and take pictures of the the 6WA instrument cluster.
The car was made the first week of March, and should be the first to have this in Norway. Also looking forward to see the internet 614+615 option in action.

Have a nice weekend!

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

My statement was only directed for US specification F10.
No doubt other markets have more flexibility
