All the pieces have finally come together and my exhaust set up is compete.

Running the Megan Racing quads that have been high temp coated in Satin Black and the M5 diffuser which I had done in a matte black finish.

WOW I really messed up with buying my F10 in Alpine White! When i was buying my e92 instinctively AW looked better than black but for some reason I got a black instead and always regretted it. Since I regretted getting black on the e92 I got AW on the the F10 and now I regret that. Your car reallyyy rubs my mistake it in! Damn it! haha beautiful car man! Best looking f10 on the forum, easily.

Sweet look! Did you have to re align your exhaust to fit the diffuser? Would you think stock plus changed duals tips would fit?

yes exhaust is moved in roughly 1-2" on each side to fit. And Im not 100% positive but I don't see how stock mufflers would work. They would probably be too wide to be moved in enough.

diffuser is an OEM BMW part. So pretty much any dealer should be able to get it for you. Just be sure to get the insert piece along with the diffuser. As for whether it will fit 528 or not...I would just be guessing as far as that goes . I do believe that the diffuser itself should work with the bumper but you will obviously have to modify the exhaust placement and some of the adapter plate behind the stock diffuser.

Well. Mine was done in stages because I was waiting on the M5 diffuser so we used one from a 550i in the meantime. I only did an axle back exhaust. Which just requires cutting off stock and welding on new. That shouldn't take longer than an hour or so. So if shop rate is around $80-$100/hr then you shouldn't pay more then $150 IMO. That being said, it took us almost 3 hours to fit the M5 diffuser mainly because we had no F'ing clue what to do with the adapter plate and PDC sensors. Hindsight it could've been done in about an hour as well.

So your super long answer is that a shop who has done this before could probably do it in 2-3hrs. Otherwise, the quote they gave you is pretty realistic and honestly inexpensive by the hour!

Believe it was about $180 or so from the dealer. Both diffuser and insert.

sorry for delayed reply..thats the "performance style" spoiler. You can get it as an OEM part or a rep which mine is. Bought of a member of this forum actually.

When purchasing the m5 diffusor, what do you mean by getting the insert piece? Can you go into a little bit more detail as I'm a rookie. Haha. Also, where did you relocate the PDC and the foot release sensor to pop open the truck?

Thanks.
