Has anyone figured out what the scale is on the different Nav settings.

The screen changes scale as you rotate the controller and the scale is indicated on the lower left of the screen for example 5 mls or .25 mls......however what does that refer to.
It has nothing to do with the circle and the arrow of direction inside the circle. It also has nothing to do with the range which is displayed on the screen.

For example on .25 setting, one (1) inch on the display is equal to a quarter mile.

On a setting of 5 mls then one (1) inch on the display screen is equal to five miles and so on!

It is very simple. The scale tells you how long ( in the real world ) is the red "line" below text of scale. Just like in any *standard* paper map.
