Guys STAY AWAY from bmwcars25. He is a scam. I've purchased the quick tune module he listed in another post and payed for it last week. He said that he can't ship it out due to the upcoming weather storm which makes total sense. So I said that's okay. Now he's disappeared off the face of the earth and won't get back to my messages. Apparently this guy's likes to go around pulling scams like this on people. http://www.saabcentral.com/forums/sh.../518505?page=1. I know you're watching the thread and probably reading my messages. Can you please refund my money. I really don't want things to get uncivilized. People come to these forums in hopes of trusting and getting together as a community. We don't need people ruining this for everyone by pulling crap like this.

Unless the person is well known on the forums with great Posting histories and Good itrader feedback, you should always use paypal with goods and services option. Yes, I know you pay 3 percent more, but with scam artists, you get your money back from paypal. I wish the admins were better at eliminating people who mar the forums.

+1 on that. Thankfully I did pay through PayPal and was waiting too see if this guy would get back to me any way or form. Since he didn't I've now filed a claim and hopefully get my money back. He's been active on the forums and was last online today. But he still hasn't responded over the past week to me. Hope the mods really do ban him from here.

i buy a lot of stuff for my car and i ususally buy them brand new. i've only bought i think a couple of things here in the MarketPlace but it's shady members like this douchebag that makes it hard for people to buy things without getting ripped off

Too bad we cant have an ALERT notification on users for pulling scams. Like provide documentation to admins and then have a person flagged, then removed. Or have some. Sort of additional verification method, like paypal does for verification, and then use that to show reliable members. I would Be willing to pay a nominal fee for such a service.

I have to say, MOST of my transactions have been positive on here, knock on wood. With the exception of a member that had Dinan Intercoolers up for sale, who quoted me a price, and then raised that price 24 hours later as he said he had higher offers I had to match. STILL saw those inter coolers for sale a couple months ago, about a year or two later. Lol.

At least you KNOW some of the members on here, like myself, badblack, and one or two members in this thread. WE should be the powers that be I think sometimes.
