Looking for a car for my son and found a 59k mile 2012 535xi m sport for sale. Clean title and good maintenance.Nice color combo , excellent condition. Does not have HUD or Blind spot monitor but it’s pretty loaded. What would be a good price point ? I’ve looked online and can’t seem to find comparable comps. KBB has value of around 14k but I assume that’s low - TIA

Nice find! Those are some low miles.
A lot of factors come into play in determining a good price point. Is this a Dealer sale vs a Private Party? My best advice for you would be to do some searches online for similar 535s (2011 - 2013) for sale within a 500 mile radius of your location. The 2012 is pre-LCI facelift. With only 59k miles I'd expect that one to sell a bit higher, of course. FWIW, I think the blind spot detection on the F10s is a bit "weak". I barely notice mine on my side mirrors when compared to other vehicles I drive. The HUD, however, was a pleasant surprise and I'm not sure how I ever drove without it...lol As a bit of a comparison, 2 years ago I purchased a 2015 535i M Sport "fully" loaded (Staggered Tires, Paddle Shifters, Driver Assist Package & Driver Assist Plus, Premium Package, Sport AT, M-Performance Exhaust & rear diffuser, Enhanced BT & Smartphone, Clear bra, etc). Extremely clean car with only one minor "ding" in the plastic window trim. Nearly zero rock chip marks or wheel scuffs. Single owner w/ all the original literature & Monroney sticker. Car had 53k miles and the Dealer price point was $23k. At the time (2 years ago) A "fair" price, imo. Not great nor bad. (Frightening to me that a luxury car can lose 2/3 of it's original value in 6 years) If I were to sell it today (w/ 72k miles) I would expect to get close to $20k for it. Maybe post a link to the car you're looking at and that will help others to chime in with more informed opinion on "what's a good price". Good Luck! You're son is going to LOVE a car like that. I know I certainly do! |

It’s a local sale. Not online. 16,500 is bottom line price. It’s a extremely clean car , only issue I noticed was slight dye fading on driver door pull. Maybe a small ding that could be PDR- Aside from that all good.
