Nice start. you should get the wheels done in black. And also, how did you not get air pockets/bubbles on the taillights?

I've used a drop of soap in water as a lubricant between the film, then use a card to push all the bubbles to the side. I also used a blow dryer. It helps a lot.
But there are some small bubbles by where the curve part is. I plan to redo them when it gets warmer and remove my taillight this time. |

1. Msport Rear bumper with M5 Diffuser
2. Msport front bumper with either the vorsteiner replica CF lip or Painted HM style replica lip. Not sure which one yet 3. OEM M5 full exhaust from downpipe foward 4. Vinyl wrap my roof, I know it's DGM but i'm going to buy a sheet on ebay and do it myself. It blends with my 15% rear window tint. 5. Color match all the chrome on the handles and side blinkers. I already have: Dinan springs 6000k HID fogs with 6000k Low beams. OEM M5 rims Black gloss kidney grills M performance spoiler Hardwire V1 hardwire Blackvue Dash cam It's going to be done by May |

http://www.ebay.com/itm/180895929073...84.m1423.l2649 He has a lifetime warranty if it burns out, doesn't cover self-inflicted damage. I thought mine were burnt out and he told me to send it back for a one. But I've realized my connector was loose, so it didn't burnt out after. The color is nicer than the stock 4300k bulbs. These are white with a very light tint of blue. It actually matches the halos when the lights are on, like 99% match, it's hard to see the halos with the lights on since it blends together. For my fogs, I've got it installed at this shop, not sure what he used but it's probably one of those cheap set of HIDs. The fog doesn't emit glare, it's my camera phone picking it up. |

Nice build!!
may i suggest painting bumper reflectors (front and rear), painting exhaust tips in black. I did a windshield strip tint 5% and i love it. Also painting fender blinker trim in black is something i want to do. While we are on a subject of de-chroming your car, "550i" could use a splash of black paint! Oh yeah, i replaced fog light bulbs with yellowish ones on purpuse, it gives a car european accent. Here are some pictures of my car up to date! Enjoy your car!!! |

Time to put this beast on. Got a great deal on this, $750 picked up in NJ and it only had less than 100 miles. The owner of the new M5 swapped it out for the akrapovic exhaust and he left the exhaust at the dealership/shop. I plan to add 2 vibrant resonators after the X-pipe to reduce drone (if any) and deepen the sound. Last edited by kthankzbye; 05-03-2013 at 12:43 AM.. |

Full M5 exhaust with vibrant resonators installed. Best guy ever. Fitted everything perfectly, made custom hangers and weld the bar that didn't fit back for me. Next mod: Full Body Kit Last edited by kthankzbye; 05-18-2013 at 12:36 AM.. |

I went to Muffler Masters in Bushwick, Brooklyn. He said I'm the last job he's doing for the price he gave me, it's too much labor and I guess I got a really good price. I found him on yelp, pretty good reviews and he's a perfectionist when it comes to his work.

Great job and car looks amazing. I did an Eisennmann Race but would have added an M5 if I could have found one last year. How does it sound? Amazing I am sure!
