PS Chop Based on Leak F10 Bumper + Spy photo

Touched it up with less number of vertical lines in kidney grill. This version is based on "andyvalencia" a member from germancarzone.com.

According to Scott, although not 100%, it's in lower-mid 90 region with more emphasis needed around headlights, it will be a mix of current 5er and Concept CS angular shape.

F10 PS Chop

Here is another PS chop based on andyvalencia's latest edition. Modified headlight with more round corner to reflect the leak bumper. Modified the kidney grills to fill the gaps around the bumper. It reminds a bit of E39 era with more modernize look.

That is pretty amazing and seems very closely based on the on the bumper that we've already seen released! Nice job jon! ( http://www.jonsibal.com )

It continues perfectly from the old 5 series below. The current 5 has a bad front (badly shaped grille, headlights and bumper). It only looks good in M-sport.

This chop has a nice wide stance and squarer grilles. Front bumper is more CS-like and the headlights are unique but not WEIRD like the current 5. Hood detail is also amazing.

I love it!

I agree this looks to be a great design that takes in styling cues that where so liked about the e39.

Long live the e39 again!

I would like it to look very close to that pshop from leftlanenews tho!

Excellent Chop by Jon

Couldn't agreed more regarding to the E39 comments! F10 embraces the E39 spirit and made the 5er looked "very" BMW! Couldn't use a better word to describe it, you know what I meant.

It seems BMW is finally making it back with F01 7er (very nice update), E89 Z4 (very BMW look, the best so far), and this highly anticipated F10 5er. If the final release of F10 looked like Jon's chop, it will be a triumph for BMW.

Come to think of it... I wouldn't be surprised if BMW were to go the route of making the m5 more aggressive or more different from the the original 5er.. as in bigger grills with integrated grounded splitters as usual? (what do u guys think?)

I like this version. To the extent that the next 5-series will likely be more conservative in design, and the "eyebrows" toned down, the new version should look more business-like and sleek, especially if the trend toward making sedans more coupe-like continues.

This PS applies some of the styling cues from the likes of the new Merc C-series.

+1 actually.

The new 7 is great. Infact I just seen it again today. The new Z4 looks stunning too. I also love the M3 too, and the CS Concept is hot. 6 Series facelift looks a lot better, X5 and X6 look great.

BMW have been doing great lately! The only thing I can think of is the 1 series which I aint liking much.

And another artist's impression. Though the grill shape seems to be slightly off based on the now revealed physical bumper.

That is really amazing looking! But i think it has no basis on what the 5 will look like atleast in terms of that front bumper which is just a CS bumper modified for a 5 series in this case. I think the 5 series will use a CS-esque headlight however..

Concept CS Inspired Headlights Chop

The above artist impression looked nice, maybe a good option for F10 mid-year face lift.

According to Scott, the original rendering by Jon had too large of "eyebrow", and the bonnet where it meets the headlights should curve up as the Concept CS and current 5er.

Although I like Jon's original rendering a lot, the production version may look more like the following:
