Base Model USB

I just took delivery of my 528i this week. Does the base model have a USB connection? I don't see anything in the console or the glove box?

The USB port with audio capability is an option in the 2011 model. If you have it, it will be next to the "aux in" port in the center console. If you do find a USB port in your glovebox, it does *not* have audio capability.

Really? Standard equipment in the UK even in a bog standard 520d. Works mighty fine with my 60GB HDD in the glovebox....

Is there any way to add it? I can use the Aux Cable or try Bluetooth Audio Streaming, but the USB would have been nice.

Does the UK model have the USB port in the console or just the glove box?

hello . this is my first post. apologies if i have posted in wrong section.
just bought 520d f10 last week. car is brilliant, the one thing that is really confusing me is how to connect my ipod to the info screen.
I do not have a usb port in centre console or glove box.
i can get the ipod to play (audio) via the aux input.
if i bought a media snap in adapter, would that enable me to view my playlists and songs on the info screen.

Thank you in advance

Nope, with only the AUX input, you'll have to control everything from the Ipod. The Media adapter won't be of any use without the USB port.
