CIC Display Replacement

Hello again,

Can the CIC displays 2011-2012 be replaced without programming? I am looking to replace mine and I found an exact replacement in terms of part number, supplier number, etc. It is also from the same year.

Hoping this can be a easy swap!

Ok great! The seller on eBay is stating it has to be but I think they all state this so they don't have to assume responsibility.

Just sayin', as an option.

Depending on the nature your damage it might be "safer" (and cheaper) than something from ebay.

I wish it only had scratches, mine unfortunately has some weird markings embedded within the panel that wont go away. It is very strange. Luckily there are many used good condition CIC displays available and the swap looks very easy. I do plan on getting a screen protector.

Update: Just as hoped, the replacement worked just fine. For those who may want to do this, find the same part number display and make sure it is either from a CIC 2011-2012 or NBT 2013+ depending on your car.
