CAN2 H and L for FLA retrofit

I have 2016 528i (LCI). I'm planning to retrofit FLA and obviously, some amount of wiring will be involved. So far, one thing I know is that I will add 2 more wires to the 10-pin connector of the mirror, to the pins 4 and 5. But I have no idea where I can attach the other ends of those new wires. I think I must be looking for something called CAN2 H and L (I am new to the terminology). But where I can get it, I don't know. Unfortunately, I haven't found anyone explaining FLA retrofit on F10. What I found was someone explaining it in this Russian forum skipping all the meaty parts with just several words. The guy says it's something on the left side where the trim needs to be removed. But later in the comments, he explains that in the LCI version, CAN2 can be gotten from the upper central panel. So please, anyone, help me find the correct spot to attach the other ends of the 2 new wires.

Here are the wiring diagrams to help get those signals from the roof function module.

Fantastic. Thanks for the diagram. You have provided everything I need. Now I gradually understand the symbols and terminology in the diagram. I could never wrap my head around those A21*1B, A21*3B, or X172*2V etc. Now that you have put all the pictures, I see that they denote the connectors.

This means I won't have to remove the trim to reach somewhere under the wheel.

BTW, did you get those diagrams from ISTA?
