I had 8k headlights I put on my ML and it was to purply for me at least.

Yea youre right. I just want the fogs a bit brighter to match the headlights. Im gonna go with the 6k.

No 8K lights please!

Save those for the lowrider, minivan, ricer types. Way too blue/purple

The best imo is 5K where its bright white. 6K is the max i would go if you really want that blue look.

I agree that the 8k would be too blue. I am probably gonna go with the 6k though. Any recommendations on the bulbs to use?

Osram CBI's - These are 5000K while still retaining all of the lumens as the stock 4300 bulbs. I have these on my F10 and they are regarded the best of the best in the hid bulb world.

If you want 6000K you can try the TRS Morimoto bulbs.
